What Interns Do at GAPA: GAPA interns engage in meaningful work that directly supports our alcohol policy advocacy mission. Responsibilities include conducting literature reviews and policy research, developing educational materials and social media campaigns, analyzing legislative proposals and public health data, and contributing to reports and publications that inform policy decisions.

Scarlett joined GAPA as a GCSU Summer 2025 intern, bringing passion for public health advocacy and research excellence to our team. During their time with GAPA, she made significant contributions to our policy research and community outreach efforts.

Available Positions: We welcome motivated students and recent graduates interested in public health, policy, communications, or related fields. Current internship focuses include alcohol policy research and analysis, social media strategy and content creation, legislative tracking and advocacy support, and community outreach and education initiatives.
Ideal Candidates:
Students pursuing degrees in public health, policy studies, communications, social work, or related fields
Strong research and writing abilities
Interest in public health advocacy and policy reform
Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills
Familiarity with social media platforms and digital communication tools
